These days are sort of busy. Yesterday, my brothers brought us some furniture that we need to set up here, now that we can no longer keep it at the house that is sold.

So I have a second dresser and two bookshelves and a second nightstand to set up.

LOL, reminds me of the "one nightstand, two lamps" meme that I can't find right now.

Other than that, I've been writing, and I attended a poetry reading with Scarborough Poetry Club (read two very short new untitled poems) which was rather nice. I previously said there are a lot of older people but I don't mind that much anymore, at least they are civil and one of the facilitators (Jeevan) really seems to like my writing, of course he's married but the type of polyamorous life I am trying to lead can ignore that. It's nice that he and his wife run this group.

I also wanted to go to a writing group with WCC but it was cancelled last Monday. Hopefully it will be good to go for this Monday. Last week, I had a doctor's appointment (psych) and I have a family doctor appointment next week too. Nothing as crazy as last year but I've been enjoying not having doctor's appointments at all this year. lol.

On the twelfth I am going to something at Fairview Library. "Craft and chat: paper flowers", hopefully it's not full of people who already know origami or something complicated like that and someone can teach me. lol. I need to get out and meet people, the library was my first choice of activities since Toronto programs are too expensive. On the 26th of May, they have a boardgames drop in. Might be cool, we shall see.


For now just hangin' in there.
