This video shows the new features in the OctoberPeaks 1.4 release.
The big change in this release is that the logic layer has been further fleshed out. This means that there are now logic gates and other basic electronic components: Signal emitters, diodes, NOT gates, AND gates, OR gates, and inventory sensors.
Additionally, some of the UI for managing/creating worlds has been updated to expose more options.
Beyond that, block and sky lighting is now smoothly blended, instead of having hard and square edges.
The plan for 1.5 is to rewrite much of the existing entity movement logic to work more like a generalized physics simulation. This should avoid some glitchy jumping movement, reduce network chatter, and allow for things like entity collision.
