So my volunteer position has had a rough start - so much so that I'm thinking of applying for other roles in other places. Last Friday I sat at the computer for 6 hours with nothing to do despite asking at the top of my shift if there was anything else I could do, as there were no adoption applications. I also almost didn't get trained because
she "forgot" to call me. It doesn't seem like my supervisor respects my time.

It's just depressing me and I don't want to be an elitist cat owner anyway. Also Korey has not been impressed, look at above photo.

I went to my uncle's last Saturday and he has the cutest barn cat, he keeps in the garage, this is normal for him and my aunt, all through their lives. It's how I was introduced to cats and all, however, the first thing I thought is the poor thing won't make it through the winter and how I wanted to "save" it from "horrible owners" :(. It doesn't even have a name, its name is "kitty"! LOL, I started resenting my uncle.

I don't think this volunteer position is for me.
