This is strange. Historically, I only get a bad cold once every 2-3 years but this year I got one at the beginning on January and now at the beginning of February. I blame the lack of normal human contact: Either being alone or sometimes in large groups but never anything between. Of course, the fact that I was at 2 crowded events on Saturday while wearing far too light a jacket for the freezing weather (since I know they would be crowded and didn't want manage a heavy coat) probably didn't help.

The annoying part is that this caused me to miss one of the monthly events events I really like last month and should probably cause the same thing, this month. I am recovering pretty quickly (feel almost normal today despite being up with a fever all Monday night) but I should probably avoid large groups until at least next week (hence, not better by Friday).

Other than that, not up to much, lately. OP is still progressing although a little more slowly than I would like. In terms of entertainment, still waiting on those Expanse Blu-rays to come in, which should be any day now. I saw that Tubi has Farscape, which I always heard was half-decent: Looks like Lexx but with less insects and sex and more puppets. That isn't exactly an upgrade but does give it a broader audience, I suppose.

Anyway, I hope that I feel better soon and can get back to my normal activities. Also, it should be warming up soon so getting out more often will be easier.
