I fashioned simple tools to help me work the land and shape it to my design, but these tools were weaker than those of my original home so I endeavoured to improve them.
The matter of this place is weaker than in the place outside so I again called upon the magics of the void from that place to infuse more mana stones with that strength. Then, I set the materials on the pedestals and allowed a mana stone to remake the tools with these materials of its own design.
Success! The tools were now harder and sharper. They could cleave the stone more easily and with fewer blemishes pushed into their edges.
In the future, I will need to find a way to make the mana stones renewable in this world, as drawing the magics of the void is not easy and cannot be done by the denizens of this new world. It would be a cruel joke to leave them forever limited in this way.
This will take some redesign of the elements or the creation of cracks in reality. Some careful planning and staged experimentation will be required in order to build a stable and balanced solution.
