I haven't written in so long but I somehow squeezed this out on Sunday after hearing a poem about Crickets by an acquaintance of mine in the Scarborough Poetry Club.
That was a good reading to attend, mind you they were all much older than me, mostly retired (what am I? I haven't really worked in a year and don't plan on looking for work anymore, does that make me defacto retired??)

The two people running the Scarborough Poetry Club are a couple, married for 10 years, Anna and Jeevan. I've been on their mailing list forever but keep missing the zoom meetings for one reason or another so I was glad to see this reading in person. I was ready with my phone but we weren't allowed to take video or photos since it was in the library
