Work on the next milestone for OctoberProject is slow-going since I keep second-guessing whether I am approaching this the right way (a common problem). I _think_ I am approaching this in a reasonable way, but I will need to mostly complete the feature before I know if it is was a reasonable approach.

Other than that, I decided to bite the bullet and pick up Stardew Valley, since it is on sale this week. Played for a few hours last night and it seems promising.

Since today is very warm, I decided to go out to Kensington to check out a store which should sell boots worth looking at (since my existing boots are falling apart). For some reason, it seems hard to find basic black combat boots of high quality, these days. Maybe my memory is betraying me but I remember these being much easier to find about 20 years ago. I picked up some STC vegan leather heavy duty combat boots which have the right look and were surprisingly inexpensive so we will see how they work out. Generally, I assume that boots which only start to fail after 2 years to be of reasonably good quality, so it will be a while before I am sure.

At least it was a warm enough day to run my various errands in my Vibrams, so that means I can start getting some reasonable exercise and time outside, soon.
