For whatever reason, I haven't been getting much done in this past week. Of course, it isn't all bad, since I have been running through some OP ideas for how to handle this complex villager AI and I think I might have an idea for how to address some cases of that but also things like "power networks", etc, in a modded world. However, nothing very concrete and been slow to feel inspired to work on the better creature pathing (although that is mostly in place, now - not a big item just not very interesting).

Other than that, it was nice to get out on Friday for "World Goth Day", and got to spend a good chunk of time with some of the guys I regularly see when out (people I look forward to seeing and around whom I feel pretty comfortable). Of course, that also meant the next day was the usual hangover excitement. Still, there isn't much future left so "drink and be merry for tomorrow we die."

Oddly, it seems as though the rain and wind on Saturday actually brought down a tree in the park (I actually heard it fall). Not sure how that happened but they have been carving it up, this evening.

Finally ended up picking up a copy of Foundation (Asimov) at that clearance BMV. I just hope that I can get the other 2 instalments of the original trilogy there, and in the same print run (since they seem to have 2 different print runs of random books of the extended series, there). Nearly done that collection of Lovecraft so I hope to be on to that this week, if I get out to read.

Still can't shake that feeling of approaching doom, when thinking about the future, and that feeling of deep-seated hopelessness, boredom, and irrelevance, when thinking about the present.
