I find myself often thinking about how long it will be until I can comfortably resume my long walks through the city. I suspect something like 1-2 months, but I can't ever be fully sure. It doesn't happen all at once and I never remember it clearly.

I have been thinking this as an antidote to the various mental poisons which always sap my strength and sanity. Somehow, this year seems to be the worst yet, in that regard.

Work on OctoberProject optimization is progressing, albeit slowly. Some further analysis will be required to identify the next target, before proceeding to the storage redesign, and then on to the various client-side analyses and ideas which must be evaluated and applied.

Otherwise, little else is really able to fully captivate my attention and interest, these days, it seems.
