Based on how I felt yesterday, it seems like that "feeling not 100%" was the onset of a cold. Feeling better, today, at least (no more sore throat, chills, or muscle aches - just stuffed sinuses and a bit of a cough).

However, I did manage to get through a rather tedious adventure in re-assigning UV texture coordinates in the player model, yesterday morning. I figured I might as well use the same coordinate system that Minecraft's player models use, since I wanted to change it anyway. This makes things like the given image possible (the "Steve" skin on a player in OctoberPeaks). Note that there are still no plans to allow customization of this but that could be added in the future (the question is where to get the skins since there is no central control system for OP).

Anyway, I need to come up with a real player texture before this item will be considered done.

I do wish that it were easier to do this kind of UV change in Blender, though. There is a good chance that I just don't know a good work-flow around this.
