I think that all the required library-level work for the next release is done (unless I run into any bugs while completing the client-side work).

The lighting optimization was a big win (and the corresponding refactoring made that part of the code a bit easier to understand), I fixed a long-standing bug where monsters could get into a strange "too close to chase you but too far to hit you" state, and also fixed some issues with mob spawning when lots of cuboids are loaded.

Now, playing with view distance on the client-side is working well, and looks like what one would expect. I want to get a "full screen toggle" working for this release, which will require me looking at some options for how to use the UI library to keep aspect ratio right. Beyond that, the big work of the start-up menus, etc, should be the only remaining big work item.

Energy level is still all over the place. Last night, I only managed to get ~3.5 hours of sleep and woke up exhausted so today hasn't been too useful. A bit, but not as much as I would like.
